The Moon

On the darkest nights, I see her in my dreams.

She is my solace in this lonely world.

Even though it's just a dream, even though it was never real.

A lie I choose to believe, an illusion I mastered.

I trick my mind and fool my heart.

But in the end, I am still alone.

The darkness never lifts, and the light never shines.

Her face is like the Moon, will you lend me some light?

We talked for hours, I smiled a lot.

But naturally, it all came to an end, after all, she was just a statue.

And I am the madman who thought he could talk to the Moon.
